Welcome to Quexer! This document outlines the commission structure, tax compliance, and financial responsibilities of vendors using our multi-vendor marketplace. By registering as a vendor on Quexer, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Vendor Commission Structure
1.1 Commission on Sales
Quexer charges a commission on every successful sale made through the platform. The commission percentage depends on the product category and is deducted automatically from the vendor’s earnings.
1.2 Current Standard Commission Rates
Quexer’s commission rates are subject to change based on market conditions and business policies. Vendors will be notified of any updates in advance.
- General Products: X% (Varies)
- Handmade & Artisanal Products: X% (Check Dashboard)
- Digital Goods: X% (Check Dashboard)
A detailed breakdown of commission rates will be available in the vendor dashboard.
2. Tax Compliance & Deductions
2.1 Tax Deduction at Source (TDS)
For Indian vendors, Quexer complies with Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) regulations as per the Indian Income Tax Act. The applicable TDS will be deducted from vendor payouts if required.
- TDS on commission fees may be deducted at applicable rates.
- Vendors must provide a valid PAN (Permanent Account Number) to avoid higher TDS rates.
2.2 Goods & Services Tax (GST)
- Vendors selling in India are required to provide their GSTIN (Goods & Services Tax Identification Number) if applicable.
- GST will be added to product pricing where necessary and remitted as per Indian tax laws.
- Non-GST vendors can still sell, but certain features (such as B2B invoicing) may not be available.
2.3 International Vendor Compliance
For vendors outside India, Quexer will comply with tax regulations of the respective country.
- VAT/GST Compliance: Vendors must comply with their country’s VAT/GST laws and report taxes accordingly.
- Withholding Tax: Some countries require withholding tax on cross-border transactions. Vendors are advised to consult their local tax authorities.
- Quexer’s Role: Quexer does not file taxes on behalf of vendors but may provide transaction reports to help with tax filings.
3. Payouts & Financial Transactions
3.1 Payout Schedule
Vendor earnings (after deducting commission and applicable taxes) will be processed as per the following schedule:
- India-based Vendors: Payments are typically processed within X days after order completion.
- International Vendors: Payments may take additional processing time due to banking regulations.
3.2 Payment Methods
- Indian vendors will receive payouts via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/UPI).
- International vendors can opt for Razorpay, PayPal, or direct bank transfers (subject to bank policies and currency conversion fees).
4. Vendor Responsibilities
- Vendors are responsible for filing their own tax returns and ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
- Any misrepresentation of tax details or failure to comply with regulations may result in account suspension or legal consequences.
- Vendors must keep their tax-related information up to date in their Quexer account settings.
